A “Newbie” here… so this may be an old idea. I have a dream (4 years old) of Q.Islanders sharing rent on a ski condo/chalet for 2-3 nights and enjoying Mt. Washington… there used to be a Hostel there as well. Also, shared car-pooling to save on ferry costs and gas on day trips. Any possibility of this with the Outdoor Club?

I think renting a condo at Mt. Washington would be a great idea. We will have a trip planning meeting in the fall and we can see how many are interested. Do you know anything about affordable accommodation there? We have time to find that out.
Car pooling will always be important on off-island and more distant island day-trips. The hike to Waiatt Bay addresses that. It’s a bit tricker where kayaks are involved, but an effort will be made.
